This iconic model from the golden years (1960s–70s) was the F3A World Champion in 1973, piloted and designed by the Japanese legend Yoshioka. An F3A aircraft that truly lives up to its name—“The Blue Angel.” Its smooth aerodynamic lines and blue-toned color scheme have made it a must-have for aerobatic enthusiasts. It features swept-back wings with a symmetrical airfoil and positive dihedral on the lower surface, mounted on the underside of the fuselage—making it a highly capable aerobatic performer. The stabilizer is designed for a precise fit into the fuselage, while the rudder slides in via a bayonet system between the stabilizer halves, ensuring perfect symmetry in the structure. Wing and stabilizer tips are reinforced with high-density wood for enhanced mechanical strength. The removable canopy provides easy access to the interior (fuel tank, batteries, and receiver).
